2009 Special Service Award

Len Farias

CMIT Solutions

Soon after BCLA relocated its offices in late 2008, Len Farias paid a visit. In March of 2007, he had established "CMIT Solutions of South Brevard" to provide top quality information technology services to small and mid-sized businesses in Brevard. In a marketplace flooded with IT companies, CMIT stands out by offering the personalized attention of a local service with all the support of a national network.

Len was looking for a way to give back to our community and was interested in learning more about BCLA and our services. After getting to know each other better, he made us an offer we could not refuse. He would provide round-the-clock maintenance and monitoring of all critical systems, virus and spyware detection and removal, preventative maintenance, hardware and software purchasing assistance and user support. In return, Len would experience the satisfaction of knowing he had helped make a difference in people's lives.

Without the generosity of CMIT, BCLA could never afford the services offered. After conducting a detailed assessment of our systems, Len recommended a sensible plan to address our needs. Technicians descended on our office and we immediately noticed the difference in our systems. Machines were faster and computer downtime was virtually eliminated.

Over the past year, Len and his CMIT team have donated immeasurable professional services without charge to BCLA. As a busy law firm which has experienced growth over the past year, BCLA's information technology systems are at the core of our ability to function efficiently. CMIT understands this and has been there, often at a moment's notice, to offer advice and practical solutions. Thanks to Len and CMIT, BCLA has greatly improved our efficiency and capacity to serve our clients.

It is with great pleasure that we present Len Farias the 2009 Special Service Award.
